We Shop: Hosted Packing

These events are easily adaptable to fit your needs. Events can be a one-hour experience, including a presentation about Project C.U.R.E., or a rolling event where participants come to pack a kit between meetings. We work with you to structure a packing experience that meets your needs.

Yes! Kits for Kids events are flexible, and we will work with you to adjust the program to fit within your schedule or pre-existing event.

Hosted packing events start with a minimum of 200 kits in cities where there is a Project C.U.R.E. distribution center. There is a minimum of 400 kits for cities without a distribution center. On average, it takes about five minutes to pack one Kit for Kids, which includes writing a message to the recipient and filling the bags. Contact us at kitsforkids@projectcure.org to discuss the number of kits recommended for your event.

Event pricing includes everything needed for a successful experience, including Kits for Kids bags and all 13 items that go into each bag. Project C.U.R.E. staff will handle event setup and takedown, as well as provide assembly line materials. Events also include a Project C.U.R.E. host who will lead the kit packing activity and present about Project C.U.R.E. and global health. Pricing also includes shipping items to and from the event.

While it’s not possible for us to tell you where your completed Kits for Kids will go during the event, event packages include follow-up information on where your kits go once they are shipped from one of our distribution centers.
