Our Kits for Kids provide personal hygiene and basic “medicine cabinet” items that are scarce in under-resourced communities and children impacted by crisis.

WHAT ARE KITS FOR KIDS?

Medical Essentials for Caregivers

Kits for Kids provide first aid and hygiene supplies for crisis-affected or under-resourced communities. Developed in partnership with pediatricians and nurses, each Kids for Kids bag contains essential items that are not easily accessible in the communities where Project C.U.R.E. works, including bandages, antibiotic ointment, fever reducer, and soap. A fever or minor infection can quickly become serious when the nearest clinic is far away—making each bag with its vital supplies a potential lifeline for families.

Health Around the World

Our C.U.R.E. Cargo program distributes Kits for Kids globally to hospitals and clinics where medical professionals teach caregivers how to use the supplies safely and effectively. Kits for Kids may also be distributed as part of disaster relief projects and through C.U.R.E. Clinics trips.

Packing Opportunities

When you pack Kits for Kids, you help bring lifesaving supplies to families around the world. Whether you are packing as an individual, family, faith community, school, corporation, or other group, your work will make a difference.

You purchase the supplies needed, pack them, and return the completed Kits for Kids to Project C.U.R.E. Click here to learn more.

Supplies: You purchase the 13 items that go into each Kits for Kids bag

Kits for Kids Bags: $10 donation per bag to cover program costs

Event Details: You decide how to pack and manage packing on your own schedule and drop off the kits at a Project C.U.R.E. warehouse or ship them to one of our locations.

Kit Minimum: Orders requesting shipment require at least five kit bags. Contact us at kitsforkids@projectcure.org to place a pick-up order of fewer than five bags.

Kit for Kids Bags: Included in event pricing

Event Details: A fully hosted packing experience that can be tailored to your event goals. Project C.U.R.E. handles setup, takedown, and return of completed kits to a Project C.U.R.E. warehouse.

Kit Minimum: Events start at 200 kits. Minimums may vary based on location.

Kits for Kids Back to School Supply Drive

Engage your school, faith community, club, or corporation in a service project that supports families around the world by hosting a Kits for Kids Supply Drive during the back-to-school season. Project C.U.R.E. will provide fliers, messaging, and collection bins.

Best For: Schools, faith communities, clubs, and corporations

Event Details: Project C.U.R.E. will provide instructions, collection bins, fliers, and other communication materials. Participants are encouraged to purchase the 13 items that go into each Kits for Kids bag and drop them off at a collection bin at your location. Project C.U.R.E. will create a donation page for participants who wish to also donate $10 to cover shipping and will pick up supplies at the end of the drive.
